I was born in San Diego California with a deformity of the left femur bone. As I sat in the back of my godfather’s limo we toasted to making history with the surgery (Van Ness rotation plasty) I was the first to try the new techniques that could help the percentage of successful surgeries and it was successful. I was told I would not be able to have children due to the nerve damage sustained by the project I was also told that I would be in a wheelchair by 21. I let Gad make the final decision and I am 42, I have five children. I’m also still walking minus the complications, I have defeated their odds! Regardless! Coming from an abusive childhood, I didn’t receive the gift of getting to follow my dreams as a child yet, I still learned how to make it alone. I was home schooled also, so my education was not affected by the violent attacks at public school’s or home. I didn’t receive certificates but I am self aware of my talents so every hand made object I creat is taught to me from the divine energy that fouls us all. I’m writing an autobiography about my life, hardships, struggles, and all that I have been through that made me stronger and more firm in my beliefs. I believe there is someone that I can help by sharing my pain to let them know it’s possible to get through it!
