Proud of my roots and where I’ve come from. I grew up in the Lower East Side Rutgers Houses. Came from a single parent family home. I was adopted. I grew up in spaces that were not always excepting of me, and found spaces that supported me with thriving and reaching my fullest potential. I realized I want to continue to change the narrative and in my profession as a social worker, educator and business owner, I want to create products that are empowering and inspiring for all walks of life, especially children of color.
