With over 30 years experience, Ms. Gotay-Colón teaches Spanish to grades 11-12. In addition to serving as a student advisor, she oversees activities, theater projects and workshops. Ms. Gotay-Colón has been involved in coordinating Semana de la Lengua, an annual activity that praised the Spanish language. She will be coordinating Noche Puertoriqueña, praising Puerto Rican culture. She took over the activity Fly By Night which entails teams of 7 students from invited schools to direct, write and act in original one-act plays in English and Spanish. Ms. Gotay-Colón is a Licensed Unity Teacher which enables her to teach in a church setting.
