I am a nationally elected labor leader, union activist, and author with more than four decades of experience in public service and advocacy. I currently serve as National Vice President of the National Council of Field Labor Locals (NCFLL), a bargaining council representing employees within the U.S. Department of Labor, and as President of AFGE Local 2519, a role I have held since 2010. My work centers on equity, worker protections, leadership accountability, and building sustainable systems that honor dignity and fairness.
In addition to my labor leadership, I am the author of Becoming Me Again, a memoir and empowerment platform focused on healing, self-reclamation, and purpose-driven living. Through writing, speaking, and mentorship, I work to bridge advocacy with personal transformation—reminding individuals and communities that growth and justice are deeply connected. Whether in the union hall, the community, or on the page, my work is grounded in integrity, courage, and a commitment to leaving every space stronger than I found it.
