I taught in the Washington County Virginia schools for 30 years. Then I was secretary/ministry assistant at First Baptist Church in Damascus for 8 years. In 2014, I joined Appalachian Authors Guild and began helping other authors prepare their work for publishing. In 2016, I opened Hoot Books Publishing. I now have an office at the Virginia Highlands Small Business Incubator in Abingdon, VA. I am an author of children’s books and devotionals that are Christian based writings. I also have a Bible study, poetry, memoir, and you g adult novella. I enjoy reading, writing, computers, board games, and puzzle books.
