My name is TR Ford. I first started writing when my only daughter was diagnosed with breast cancer. It was a devastating time and eight women from her job made a declaration "to be there until you are well again". The women who I started calling Angels were true to their word. They were there for my daughter with money, care, trips to the doctors, time and even gave up their own work hours so she never missed a pay check. When my daughter started to improve, after much thought and prayer I decided to write the Angels a thank-you letter. This thank--you letter evolved into a tiny book. My first book - and did I have fun writing that book, thoughts and ideas seemed to just flow. I had the 30-40 pages copied, made a cover and gave each of the eight Angels a copy the following Christmas. To my amazement, they all loved what I had written, and I enjoyed putting it together. I then realized these women, the Angels were not just my daughter Angels, but mine as well - they helped me discover a passion to share my heart with others, and I have been writing since.
