Passionate about her God-given purpose and vision, Tjwana began providing home and community based services to individuals with special needs in 1998. In this role, Tjwana is compassionate in the sense that she provides care with dignity, concern, kindness, and respect for the diversity of her community. Knowing that challenges and hurdles will be encountered along the way, she works diligently to get her message out as well as her training out globally. She aims to make a positive difference in the lives of people with mental retardation or other developmental disabilities through providing professional and quality support as well as assisting them in achieving their highest potential as they grow and integrate into the community to live as independently as possible. She feels that the more people she can educated about servicing the special needs population, the more the world can get a grasp on the challenges they face; and the issues that most people chose to ignore.
