My path into the business of manufacturing seemed to me, a natural evolution. High organizational skills and creativity makes processes and problem solving, dare I say fun. When I was a child I used to organize my mother's pantry placing canned good in alphabetical order, leaving her no idea where anything was located. Fortunately my communication skills have grown since then, but I still love processes and problem solving, especially for our customers. Pentar was born out of necessity, not a great desire to build a business. Facing relocation with my current employer, I just didn't want to move. I loved Huntsville, my church family and friends and no way I was going to leave any of those important relationships or places. So I stayed. To date I am still in the same city, same business, same friends and same home only now with two grown children. Having been in the safety net of employee I had many hurdles, fears and the very steep learning curve to overcome. There have been failures and coming close to giving-up, but each morning I would wake up again and not be able to see myself doing anything else. I knew deep inside that I was fulfilling my purpose and serving where and how I needed. My desire to build, create, and learn, surpasses my fear. Every challenge I’m faced with now, becomes a greater experience of learning my true power.
