Terran Mitchell is an experienced educator with over 17 years of teaching experience in the public-school sector. She has primarily worked in the Houston Independent School District, focusing on Health and Physical Education. Terran holds a Bachelor of Science in education, as well as a Master of Science in Health Education from Texas Southern University.
In addition to her teaching career, Terran has also excelled in her role as the Director of Athletic Training Operations and Recruitment in the TSU Athletic Training Program. She has also served as an Adjunct
Instructor at Lone Star College, where she mentored and taught students.
Terran’s passion for education and mentoring led her to establish a nonprofit organization in 2012.
Through this organization, she aims to build, educate, and support youth and young adults, helping them achieve their goals in life. Terran firmly believes that with the right resources and guidance anyone can succeed regardless for their environment or circumstances.
