Dr. Teri Rouse, called Dr. Teri by friends, family, students and clients, is an early interventionist, behavior strategist, reading & autism specialist, international speaker, 9 time international best-selling author and the creator of Snuggle Bunny Book Club. She cares passionately for the wellbeing of children and their families.
After raising a step child with significant behavior challenges, spending over 22 years in classrooms from Pre K-Middle School and 17 years in higher educations, teaching teachers how to teach, she decided to work with private clients and founded KIDS: Interventions & Direct Services where she is the Managing Director. Her programs R*E*A*L Peaceful Parenting Framework, and the Braver Than You Believe Blueprint are labors of love
Because of her extensive classroom experiences and her personal experiences as a parent/step-parent of a child with significant behavioral issues, she has written a book, Untamed Chaos: a Guide to Improving Communication, Resolving Conflict, and Restoring Peace in Your Home. She has also created programs to help families restore peace in their homes. And her second solo book of 2024 R*E*A*L* Reflections Inspiring Quotes for Empowered Living which is a collection of quotes and stories to inspire each person to embrace their resilience, feel empowered, crate an attitude of independence (autonomy) and live your extraordinary life.
Dr. Teri is a member of the National Academy of Best-Selling Authors and the Recipient of multiple QUILLY Awards. She is a 9 time Best-Selling author. In addition to Untamed Chaos, her Best-Selling books include Never Give Up , Success, Rise Up, Courage Under Seige and Cracking the Code to Success, to name a few.
She also authored Julian’s Gift, a children's book inspired by her over 22 years in the classroom.
She travels the globe to give presentations at conferences for teachers, school administrators, organizations and conventions such as the Division of International Special Education & Services. Dr. Teri is involved with the Division of International Special Education & Services, The Council for Exceptional Children (CEC), Autism Speaks, Lily’s Hope Foundation and Uthando, South Africa.
