I’ve always wanted to be a writer. It was and is my dream. I have a creative mind. I believe authors are like artists but our pens are our brushes. Authors bring characters to life by telling stories that evoke emotions and carry readers on a journey. Although my book has not reached best-seller status, I entered it in a competition. My book “No Sex in the City” won an International Impact Book Award. Writing is my happy place. My other happy place is spending time with my grandchildren. As a Human Services professional, my purpose is to assist individuals with problem solving, offer support, and to improve their quality of life. My professional life and creativity as an author are integrated. Both seek to make a positive impact on others. Although the methods differ, the end goal remains the same…effective communication and getting the best out of our human experiences. My hope is to continue writing and connecting with the readers. May we never stop our love of reading.
