Grew up in Sun Prairie, WI, attended several colleges for business, writing and publishing. Wrote what I am passionate about - helping children/families avoid going through what we went through when my brother drowned and was considered a quadriplegic at the age of 12. We never gave up and he walked out of the hospital 4.5 months after accident. Took me eight years to write it, and then self-publish. I am a retired postmaster, who now lives in Madison, WI and Naples, FL in the winter. I love my two labs and volunteer for Naples Therapeutic Riding Center. I also knit/crochet afghans and baby blankets for the Veteran's Administration Hospital and numerous hospitals in Madison, WI area,
