I currently reside in Tyler, TX and have lived in this area for almost seven years. I grew up in a small town named Hughes Springs, TX that only has one stop light and basically two intersections, so don’t blink, you may miss it. I went to school in Hughes Springs from the grades of kindergarten through senior year. Once I graduated from high school, I attended Northeast Texas Community College in Mt. Pleasant, TX and earned an Associate of Science Degree in Business Administration. Later in life, I decided to go back to school to complete a bachelor’s degree. I attended The University of Texas in fall of 2019 and graduated with a Bachelor of Applied Arts and Science holding a concentration in Business Occupations, May of 2020. Once again, I have decided to get on the school bus to complete a Master of Business Administration through the Rice University. I am excited to be on this journey with all my cohorts I am a mother of three kids who are my whole life. I have two girls and one boy. I had my first daughter when I was 18 years old, my son when I was 24 years old, and my second daughter when I was 34 years old, so they are pretty spread apart. I am a single full time working mom and enjoy every minute of the time with my kids. I will not say that it is an easy to task to jungle the everyday routines, but it is a rewarding life that I live. A little bit about what I enjoy doing in the little spare time I get is acrylic canvas painting and drawing. Painting is so relaxing to me and keeps me centered in this chaotic world we live in now. I like to think that I am a very creative person. One of my goals is to publish a children’s book that I illustrate myself. This is a work in progress but I hope that one day it comes to fruition. I currently work as an Account Executive for Marsh McLennan Agency out of Dallas, TX and have over 15 years’ experience in the business field. I have worked for large corporations for much of my career, starting off in the Food Industry and then changing directions to Commercial Insurance. I look forward to the many opportunities that become available as a member of the P.O.W.E.R. I take great pride in helping other advance and fulfill their future endeavors. This is a privilege I am so blessed to be part of P.O.W.E.R.
