Sheila R. Simon began her career in higher education in 2006 as a business and computer I.T. faculty member, small business consultant and HR partner. Currently, she is Director–Business Operations in the Continuing Education and Workforce Development department at San Jacinto College.
Sheila completed both her MA in Organizational Management and BBS at Dallas Baptist University. She holds micro-credentialing certificates in AI Fluency: Frameworkand Foundations, and industry certifications in Intuit Personal Finance, Business Communications, and Entrepreneurship and Small Business.
Sheis an international conference speaker sharing topics on AI, leadership innovation, and entrepreneurship at conferences such as the Global Entrepreneurship Summit 2026 on integrating and scaling leadership competencies and the National Career Pathways Network 2026 on empowerment and building professional credibility (2026). Mostrecently, she presented a super-session (90-minute knowledge builder) on AI and Workforce Productivity for Leaders at the Texas Administrators of Continuing Education conference (2026).
