She belongs to the American Legion, havingserved in the United States Air Force. She participates in Unity Churchof Tempe, Arizona. She is also a Chaplain at the Elks Lodge of Scottsdale andvolunteers for homeless and veterans. She donated money to feed the veterans andhomeless on the streets of Houston and is associated with the Elks Lodge 126 clothing drive for the homeless in Galveston, Texas. They feed starving children andwork with veterans in need of relocation and prayers.
