I have always wanted to help others in any way I could. My career path has always been in customer service. Let me share with you what led me to sell insurance. When I worked in patient care, I worked for an in-home care agency. It was then that I noticed a trend: my clients became extremely stressed when the time came to choose their Medicare plan.
It was later down the road, some years later, when I retired, the time came for me to sign up for Medicare, I found myself confused about the time to enroll or what kind of plan to choose, do I want a Medicare Advantage or Original Medicare or a Medigap Plan and then to choose which Medigap plan letters ABCDEFGKLN, or MA/PD or stand-alone dental to add to my Medigap plan, Whew, and my thoughts were, there has to be an easier way, and what I found is, there’s not a easier way.
So, I decided to become educated and licensed in Insurance. With some experience mixed in the equation, I can now help those who need someone, to take the time with them to explain, compare, and enroll them in a plan that enriches their lives. I absolutely love my new way of helping people; it is rewarding, and at the end of the day, I feel appreciated, Isn't that what we all strive for.
