My name is Regina O'Malley and I absolutely LOVE all things teaching! I love being a lifelong learner and try very hard to instill that in all my students. I truly do all I can to motivate students to understand that they are ultimately in charge of their learning. I explain that they HAVE to take ownership of being the best student they can be because this will help them become the best person they can be for the rest of their life.
Figuring out what makes students "tick" while building a rapport is key in helping motivate and challenge them! This is always the first thing I try to do when meeting students for the first few times.
Students have to believe you care for them as a person before they feel safe enough to learn from you.
