Regina Bowens attended Camden County College and received a real estate license in 2003 from the Real Estate School (Don Haven) in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. She worked as an office manager for 13 years at the YWCA in Camden, New Jersey, where she managed 13 staff members. She completed the Entrepreneurial Development Training Program (EDTP,) a nine-week training course in business planning and management hosted by the Latin American Economic Development Association (LAEDA). EDTP training provides classes in management, business planning, market analysis, business law, finance, accounting, personnel, banking services, insurance, licenses and zone requirements. As a graduate of this program, Regina has been receiving technical assistance in the areas of bookkeeping, marketing and issues related to taxes, zoning, management and operations etc. She and her husband have been successfully operating their janitorial company over the past 15 years, with endorsements for their exemplary work. Regina is in the process of opening a child care facility in the Camden City area. She dedicated 13 years in the childcare field while employed at the YWCA. She plans to implement the skills learned and experience gained to fulfill her true passion.
