Dr. Rachel Alex is an educator, entrepreneur, author, speaker, and breast cancer survivor who empowers women to lead with purpose, honor their stories, and give themselves permission to become who their next season requires.
As founder of Dr. Rachel Alex Legacy Group LLC, she brings together her commitment to leadership development, service, and meaningful impact. Through HELP in Schools LLC, she draws on nearly three decades in public education to coach leaders, strengthen teams, and help schools turn intentions into sustainable practices. Her experience spans the classroom, campus and district leadership, and service as an interim superintendent. She also prepares future educational leaders as an adjunct professor at the University of Houston–Clear Lake.
Her commitment to empowering women became deeply personal following her breast cancer diagnosis. As founder and president of The Pink Table Foundation, she creates spaces for women impacted by breast cancer to find connection, encouragement, and community—grounded in the belief that “Every woman deserves a seat.™” In her memoir, Breast In Peace, she shares her journey through cancer, identity, faith, and healing. As host of The Mirror Is a MF’r, she invites honest reflection about growth and the courage to change.
A wife, mother, and grandmother, Dr. Alex believes women deserve room to pursue their purpose while caring for themselves. Her message is rooted in lived experience: the hardest chapter of your life does not have to define the rest of your story.
