50 years experience; 10 years as FNE-A/P; Specialized in forensic nursing, adult/adolescent and pediatric sexual assault examinations and evidence collection, preceptorship, critical care, emergency medicine, psychiatry, respiratory management and QA/QI; Works with the judicial system as an expert witness for the State of Maryland, the Superior Court and the Court System of Washington, DC, and the Prince George's County Court System; Interviews, examines, obtains specimens and photographs, compiles body diagrams, performs lab work, collects and secures evidence; Provides emotional support and comfort to victims; Former Director of Emergency Department, ICU, ER and Transplant Units Manager; Director of Respiratory Therapy Department; Serves as a consultant and instructs in-service training classes for staff, patients, law enforcement, medical students, attorneys and volunteers
