Originally from the Philippines, my siblings and I moved to the US to be with our mom back in 1999. It's been a roller coaster ride since then, but has been fruitful and blessed nevertheless. I am currently a Coding Auditor and Educator for one of the biggest health systems in the VA / DC / MD area. With 18 years of experience, my current responsibilities include but are not limited to: providing quality materials and information to be given to providers, interacts with coders, other auditors and educators for colleague collaboration, trains new providers on evaluation and management documentation guidelines, regulations and compliance, makes suggestions for documentation improvements and updating on changes to Federal and State government billing and coding guidelines
