I am a mom of 2 and have a wonderful husband. I love to do diy projects on my free time and of course shopping! I am a christian woman and love my church family here in Saint Augustine at Moutrie Baptist. I have worked my whole life, I was born and raised on a 1000 acre hay farm in Alaska and grew up living off the land. My childhood family ended up in Florida near distant family in my teenage years and I ended up back in AK after I turned 18 going back and forth from Ak to FL for college. I graduated from high school at MCHS and earned my AA from NFCC and completed my BA from Saint Leo University in human services administration. I have worked in home health care for over 7 years. After the completion of my BA I moved to Saint Augustine Florida where my sister and brother-in-law lived for a job at Flagler Hospital. I fell in love with my husband in Madison County FL and my he and my step son followed me to Saint Augustine to persue my career. My husband and I were married in Lake Park, GA and were blessed with my a child 10 months later. I ended up losing my father to MS when I was 8 months pregnant with my son, and God gave me the strength to keep my head up. I love my family and spending time with them. I was inspired to start my own online children boutique when I started reading during a seasonal position at the Riverview Club here in the Shores in Saint Augustine where my husband and I bought our first home. During this position I was able to read various books and the one that got to me was the book about Joanna Gaines from the show "fixer upper". By reading this book I was thereafter determined to take the leap to own my own business and open Precious Bloomers Boutique. I also read the book "girl boss" which inspired me to start my business online. It has been 2 months now since preciousbloomers.com has been established and each day has been a learning experience. Marketing has been my number one issue in regards to getting the word out without spending money you do not have with a new business. I have noticed the number one way of making sales for my local online boutique has been by far word of mouth. Every day brings new challenges but none of which can not be resolved with experience and a little research.
