About Me

I’m a Native American born in Newark, New Jersey in 1968. I grew up in poverty, but was able to attend the University of Medicine in Dentistry and become an Emergency Medical Technician serving the cities of East Orange and Newark NJ. I’m in my second career as a licensed real estate agent with Keller Williams Shore Properties in New Jersey. I own my own property preservation company which preserves both private and bank owned assets. We offer services from code remediation to property design and rehab. I am a self-taught New Jersey licensed home-improvement contractor since 2011. I’m recently married and the mother of one adult child. My hobbies include riding my custom pearl white Harley Davidson Road King, boating and big game/tarpon sport fishing In the Caribbean with my daughter. Through the years, I have been able to mentor many young women which I enjoy very much. As a survivor of rape and other life traumas, I felt led to mentor young women who have survived traumatic events. We do not need to be defined by our trauma. We can use it as a tool to remind us of how much we are capable of overcoming. Though it is not easy, by reaching out to resources like friends, family, mentors and church, we can create an arsenal of tools and life lessons that we will be able to depend on to bring us through the low times. I tell girls we learn something every day. Never think that you know everything about any subject. Chances are you know a lot less than you think. Never scoff it at anyone taking the time to share wisdom knowledge and how to. You can’t even put a price on good old fashion experience. Sometimes the things we learn are happy and beautiful and inspire us. But sometimes the things that we learned are just tough life lessons. Don’t throw any of it away. I don’t you for a second ever be ashamed of it.
