About Me

Michele V. Fenton, Esq. graduated from Fordham University in 1999, with a double major in History and English, and a minor in Spanish. After graduation, Ms. Fenton spent her time on Wall Street, working as a paralegal at Bear, Stearns & Co. Inc and Oppenheimer Funds, Inc. becoming well versed in Securities Law.  Ms. Fenton then attended New York Law School, and interned for the Chief Judge at the Court of International Trade. Upon passing the Bar Exam, Ms. Fenton worked at a family law firm for a brief period of time, putting her career on hold to raise her own family, her two daughters, Abigail and Emily.  As a bilingual attorney, with experience in estate planning, Ms. Fenton is now putting all her knowledge and skills into representing Divorce and Family Law clients at Hedayati Law Group, in Melville, New York At HLG, Ms. Fenton has advocated for many victims of domestic violence and parental alienation. Notably, Ms. Fenton has not only litigated various cases, but she is a litigant of a divorce herself. Ms. Fenton understands her clients, a no-nonsense approach to those going through this very difficult process.  Ms.Fenton is proud to have represented NYS Troopers in Nassau and Suffolk County Detectives and NYPD as her family is comprised of various members of law enforcement and different branches of the military. Ms. Fenton is therefore instinctually a fighter, doing anything and everything possible to obtain favorable results for her clients.
