I am Melissa, and I have the privilege of being a mother to three wonderful children: Mark, Michael, and Mariah. My husband, Mark, and I have shared 27 years of marriage and 31 years of companionship. After a fulfilling period as a stay-at-home mom, my professional career began when my youngest child started preschool.
As I started working full-time while raising my children, I took on multiple roles, including coaching them in soccer, basketball, and softball. I also served as the head of the Mount Marion Elementary Yearbook Committee for 10years and volunteered as a PTA mom for 17 years.
My son's experience with multiple concussions prompted me to leave the legal field and volunteer with the New York State Brain Injury Association. Witnessing the impact of his injury on our family inspired me to help others in similar situations. However, after years of unpaid volunteer work, I had to return to paid employment and eventually found a position with another law firm. In the past, I was deeply involved in my children's activities and loved being a mother.
As my family grew, I was blessed with two remarkable daughters and five exceptional grandchildren—a treasure beyond anyone's expectations.
In 2024, I established my own business, Clearly5 LLC. Moving forward, I plan to write a book, start a podcast, attend more fashion shows, work as a motivational speaker, help others in anyway I can, and explore real estate opportunities.
My hobbies include fashion, attending fashion shows, volunteering, photography,videography, music, sitting by the ocean, writing poetry, and spending as muchtime outdoors as possible.
