I am semi-retired from nursing, but am keeping my RN and public health licenses active. I've helped those in need, especially those with physical, emotional and social needs ever since I was 12 years old, and that burden led to a nursing career. Although I'll be 73 in July, I don't see myself as old, but wiser and mellow just like fine wine. I enjoy life, being with my family, friends, church family members and living life, having fun. I love all the beauty that surrounds me, that's God's creation! I won't allow myself to say “No, I can't do it,” like the challenge to become a naturopathic physician. It took 7 years for the completion of the program. But I did it. Within these seven years, I also completed licenses and courses to become a Functional Medicine Practitioner, Essential Oil Coach, and Family Herbalist. I don't give up easily. I like the challenge to keep going to the very end, the goal of achievement and accomplishment. That's a Winner!
