I have always loved photography. I started learning retouching on negatives at the age of 16. At 18 I took a job at a professional color lab doing negative retouching on color negatives. I also learned print retouching, oils airbrushing, pencils and dyes work on the prints. I started my 1st business working out of my home and in 1982 I joined the Professional Photographers of WA. I also joined the Photographic Artist Guild and quickly moved up to become their president, which gave me a seat on the PPW board. I purchased Beaux Arts Studio in 2003 and made it an LLC last year. I have traveled to different states and have been a speaker and judge at state conventions, our national convention and Cananda's national convention.
