Registered Nurse for 13 + years also worked one year as a Nurse Extern while getting my degree. I also have worked in Restaurant Management prior to nursing. I went from a waitress to a Store Manager in one year. I am a highly driven person and feel like that I have a lot of knowledge and experience in people and caring for peoples needs. I believe that the healthcare industry needs to lay attention to their newer nurses they are not wanting to stay floor nurses and your older nurses are retiring in huge numbers daily who are you going to have to take care if patients. Nurse to patient ratio needs to be their main objective or soon your nursing shortage will be even greater.
