As the founder of Train with Lay and Momma I Don't Want to Go to College, Inc., she is dedicated to empowering individuals and communities through education, prevention, and advocacy.
A nationally recognized Mental Health First Aid Instructor and recipient of the 2025 Adult Mental Health First Aid Instructor of the Year Award, Layla has trained thousands of individuals across diverse communities. Her work focuses on equipping people with practical skills that strengthen mental wellness, increase preparedness, and build community resilience.
