I came into the educational field after volunteering with Special Olympics. I just completed my 31st year as a volunteer at the Special Olympics Michigan Summer State Games. I saw a need and decided to leave the business world and get my teaching degree. When I'm not teaching, lesson planning or volunteering, I enjoy spending time with my husband. I also enjoy cheering on my nieces and nephews at their various sporting events.
