About Me

I am a mother of three and a real estate investor — two roles that couldn't have prepared me for what was coming. In 2019, my nieces and nephew, each with special needs, were placed with me, and almost overnight I went from closing deals to fighting for their care, their services, and their future. That fight pulled me straight into a child welfare system I never expected to know so intimately, and what I saw there changed me. It opened my eyes to how easily families — especially families like mine — can be misunderstood, overlooked, or torn apart by a system that isn't built to see the full picture.

That awakening turned into a mission. I took the same drive that built a 15-year career in real estate and pointed it somewhere new: Safe Haven Resource Foundation, the kind of support I wish had existed for me — a place where parents don't have to face the hardest fight of their lives alone.

Since opening in January 2026, Safe Haven has stood beside over 200 families and led more than 30 community workshops and classes, offering everything from emotional support to practical, hands-on guidance for parents trying to keep their families together. I lead a growing team, and I'm now working toward something even bigger: a residential facility where families in crisis can live and heal together under one roof.

I didn't learn any of this in a classroom. I learned it by living it — and now I make sure no parent has to learn it alone.
