I was an emotional behavior disorder paraprofessional for the PRIDE unit the last 7 years and currently became a first year teacher in the same PRIDE unit at Smart Pope Livingston Elementary. I am a tax professional and have owned my business Zion’s Chozen 1 for the last 13 years. The completion of my B.S. in Business Administration has been a milestone that I’ve been waiting to reach. It was completed this year 2020.Becoming a divorcee in 2013 after 16 years of marriage, then a single parent with 2 type 1 diabetic children was rough. In order to support my household I took on 3 jobs and worked them for the last 7 years. It definitely put my goals on the back burner. I believe my window of opportunity has finally opened to follow some of my dreams since my oldest son was in the Navy, my 20 year old son is currently attending college at FSCJ in culinary school, and my 19 year old daughter is attending Savannah State University studying Criminal Justice. Lastly, my 13 year old daughter is an honor student, dancer and so many other amazing things.
