Kayla — Family Nurse Practitioner
Kayla is a dedicated and experienced Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) at KC Elite Medical Muscle, with a passion for functional medicine and a whole-person approach to health and wellness. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Regis University and completed her Master's degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner at Walden University. Drawing on a diverse clinical background that includes trauma and emergency nursing, urgent care, and family practice, Kayla focuses on identifying and addressing the root causes of health concerns rather than simply treating symptoms—empowering her patients to achieve lasting, optimal wellness.
Kayla's drive and dedication were shaped early on by the strong women in her family. She was inspired by watching her mother thrive in a leadership position with the U.S. government, as well as by her grandmothers—both nurses who also helped manage the family ranch and the trucking business. Their resilience, work ethic, and spirit of service continue to guide Kayla in her own career today.
Outside of her practice, Kayla is a devoted mother of four and enjoys spending time with her husband and family in the great outdoors, including hunting, fishing, camping, and hiking. A former collegiate golfer at Colorado Mesa University and RMAC All-Conference honoree, she brings the same dedication and competitive spirit to her patient care that she once brought to the course.
