Katie is a self-proclaimed "contracts nerd" who thrives on providing legal advice to enable businesses to grow and succeed. Katie has in-depth experience in reviewing various complex contracts including but not limited to nondisclosures, licensing, distribution, partnership, SaaS, vendor, and government agreements. She has worked with both startups and Fortune 500 companies across the globe to help them drive innovation while limiting their risk.
Katie is currently a Regional Lead Counsel for Motorola Solutions, Inc. She is part of the North America Go To Market legal team and leads the Enterprise and T6 legal team to create, negotiate, and finalize complex product, service, and software agreements.
Katie has dedicated herself to empowering and inspiring women through leadership training and fostering meaningful mentorship connections. Katie hosts her own podcast, Lead Fearlessly, a podcast empowering women to unleash their inner strength and embrace leadership with confidence. Additionally, Katie serves as the President of Women Standing Together, a Maine-based organization that elevates women leaders and entrepreneurs through leadership training, networking, and professional development opportunities.
On top of all this, Katie is the reigning National United States Maine Mrs. 2025 where she is using her platform to advocate for women leaders. Katie’s work has garnered recognition and she has been featured in both local and national publications. She also speaks on topics relevant to young women such as networking, building a personal brand, and battling impostor syndrome. She has captivated audiences across the United States, speaking at prestigious institutions like Harvard Law School and Pepperdine University.
Katie earned her J.D. from Quinnipiac University School of Law, summa cum laude with a concentration in Intellectual Property Law, and received an MBA from the University of Maine. Prior to attending law school, Katie earned her B.A. in Journalism and Sociology from Hofstra University.
