Jillian Bullock is the CEO/President of Jillian Bullock Enterprises, LLC, an entertainment and film production company based in Pennsylvania. The company’s ongoing mission is to produce films, TV shows, Youtube content, books, and projects that are groundbreaking, visionary, unique, socially conscious, and thought provoking, while tackling difficult subject matters in an effort to bring about change. Each project is a way to empower, educate and entertain audiences.
While Jillian attended college, she worked as a reporter for “The Wall Street Journal” newspaper. After graduation with a degree in Communications from La Salle University, Jillian got her start in filmmaking as an intern on Spike Lee’s movie “Malcolm X.” From there, she has worked on her own, and other people’s movies as an actor, writer, producer, director, and fight choreographer.
Jillian wrote and directed the documentary “A Filmmaker’s Personal Journey.” She went on to write, direct and produce the drama “Spirit.” Jillian’s film “A Sense of Purpose: Fighting For Our Lives,” a movie that focuses on veterans, PTSD and military sexual assault, won several awards and is available on Amazon Prime.
As the writer, producer, and director, in 2023, Jillian completed production on “A Cup Full of Crazy,” a psychological thriller, which deals with mental illness and the path to recovery and healing. Jillian is currently in development on the movie, “Rebirth,” which deals with domestic violence.
As a transformation speaker and vegan athlete, Jillian travels the country speaking to corporations, government agencies, non-profit organizations, health and wellness events, colleges, and women's organizations.
Since 2007, Jillian has been a screenwriting judge for the Set In Philadelphia Screenwriting Contest, which is sponsored by the Greater Philadelphia Film Office. She also teaches screenwriting classes and works as a script consultant. Jillian is often asked to be a guest expert on film and entertainment panels in order to share her knowledge and experience as a female filmmaker.
