About Me

Jennifer was born and raised in Fort Wayne, Indiana and comes from a family background in manufacturing, steel, farming, and military service. She spent 10 years in the Army Reserves after high school and deployed to Iraq in support of Operation Enduring Freedom, receiving multiple commendations for her service. With a passion for learning, Jennifer earned a B.A. and a MSW from Indiana University. She completed her Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology specializing in Traumatic Stress Psychology in July 2019 from Adler University in Chicago. In addition to managing WellHome Psychology, Jennifer often presents throughout the region on trauma, stress disorders, and issues impacting military service members and their families. Jennifer is a fully Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Clinical Addictions Counselor in Indiana. She has been providing therapeutic services for nearly 15 years throughout Northern Indiana and has completed several clinical rotations throughout the Chicago area. She gained significant clinical training and experience from working in a variety settings: home- and school-based programs for families and children; juvenile detention centers; adult drug court; criminal and family court systems; home therapy; nursing homes and rehabilitation care; community mental health outpatient care; integrated primary and behavioral healthcare; psychological assessment and testing sites; and inpatient psychiatric and VA hospital settings.
