Throughout her career, she has been introduced to a wide and vastly varied experiences in many industries, led countless projects, volunteered for causes close to her heart and non-profit organizations. It is through her experience where she has learned the soft skills needed for establishing and maintaining safe, trustworthy, productive, and long-lasting working relationships. She's a master networker who has yet to meet a stranger. She's worked in the restaurant industry, construction, banking it operations, small business-school/sports photography, non-profit business operations, non-profit business leadership, fundraising and event planning (personally and professionally), non-profit healthcare (hospital and physician membership organization), project management of adult education in various modalities, product, (small to large) event marketing, fundraising, (small to large) event planning, office operations (processes and procedures), employment law, IT talent/client recruiting, and now is a small business owner. She served two years as president of the Board of Directors for the Surplus Exchange – a non-profit small electronics recycling business and currently the acting Secretary on the Board of Directors and Project Manager of the annual professional development day conference for the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA) Kansas City Chapter. She is a Sr. IT Recruiter at Premier Tech, Inc. securing IT talent for their clients, acquiring new clients through sales, and recently started her own small business, Nailed It! Designs, delivering quality handmade novelty gifts, home decor, jewelry, and custom tees (who wants a KC cowbell!). Born and raised in the Kansas City Metro, she has lived in numerous suburbs on both the Kansas and Missouri sides, and has now settled her roots in Gardner, Kansas with partner Zac, and their two dogs, Rocco and River.
