Jennifer Montiel is a law enforcement professional, business owner, award recognized author, and survivor advocate based in Houston, Texas. With fourteen years of experience and over 6,400 documented training hours, she has built a career in patrol operations, investigations, evidence management, and leadership. She holds the Master Peace Officer certification and is a certified Sexual Assault and Family Violence Investigator, dedicated to protecting vulnerable communities and supporting victims through trauma informed service.
Jennifer is also an entrepreneur who founded Back Ally Tint with a mission of service. She created the business to provide affordable window tinting for first responders and to help survivors of sexual assault and domestic violence who needed added privacy and protection in their vehicles but could not afford it. After growing the company, she proudly passed operations to her husband so she could focus fully on her publishing vision through Monarch Story House.
Beyond public safety, Jennifer is the founder of Monarch Story House, where she writes and publishes bilingual children’s literature centered on family, tradition, and resilience. She has published five books to date, including her International Impact Award winning title The Adventures of Michael and Chepe, Día de los Muertos. She is also expanding into adult fiction with her upcoming novel Twin Flames Under the Moon.
As a survivor of sexual assault, Jennifer uses her voice and platform to advocate for healing, justice, and empowerment. She is a member of the National Society of Leadership and Success, Sigma Beta Delta Honor Society, and the American Psychological Association. Jennifer is also a proud mother of three, balancing family life with public service, advocacy, entrepreneurship, and authorship.
