The "YES!" moment is what it's all about! Self expression... just the perfect word or phrase conveying just the right vibe to just the right reader. I help entrepreneurs get their "Yes!" I am a Sales Copy Editor and Coach helping Entrepreneurs verbalize their passion to the their prospect. We all yearn to express our uniqueness, our offerings to the world. Whether coaching, training, speaking, selling, or editing, my professional life is about getting people to their "Yes." "Yes, that's it! That's me!" How great is that! Am I an editor in the traditional sense? Absolutely not! I"m a mentor at heart. I don't want to leave the writer's words in pieces on the floor. I want to collaborate, suggest, teach, coach. I want to push you to express yourself. I need to do this because I know that you have something unique to share with this world. I want you to attract your tribe. I know they are waiting for you! (Yes, that is a noun/pronoun disagreement. I did it on purpose!) My first consulting business started before the internet was all-consuming. I realized through those eight years that I was good at writing sales copy. I wrote advertisements that were on radio, television, and print. I wrote press releases and pitch letters that won me spots on all four of the local television stations (multiple times), and articles in local and regional printed publications including 417 magazine, Springfield Magazine, and the cover of the local business journal. Am I sharing all this to brag? yeah! I give kudos to my years spent in Toastmasters (toastmasters.org). I learned to speak. I found my voice. I grew. Who knew in those first nervous moments speaking to 20 local members, that I'd go on to conduct 1,152 full-day seminars or I'd have the honor of speaking for CalPoly State University, Los Angeles Circuit Courts, Tusculum College, Justice Jewelers, Wichita State University, or a tiny business in Roswell NM. Who knew that the joy I found in "coaching from the front of the room" would take me to every state in the US and much of Canada... Thirteen years teaching business writing, grammar, and communication to corporate America... thirteen years traveling and training - sometimes five cities in five days! I've got it down and I am having a BLAST! March 2020. Enter Covid. I am left savvy and resourceful. Will I ever again speak to groups of folks stuffed into conference rooms? I don't know. I'm not waiting to find out. There are entrepreneurs and businesses struggling to get their messages out and i'm going to help them do it. I'll get them to their "yes!"
