Janine has a lifelong passion for all things design. Well-versed in a wide range of styles from traditional to transitional to modern, Janine works closely with her clients to develop the right style for their home, personality and lifestyle. Whenever possible, she looks to sustainable solutions that are long-lasting, beautiful, and gentle on the earth. Janine began her career at Wells and Fox in 2000, working all the way up to Senior Designer. She designed homes and interiors throughout the country and worked on several restaurants including Woo in Las Vegas and the Cafe at the Institute of Contemporary Art in Boston. Janine received her training in interior design and sustainable design from the Boston Architectural College. She is LEED certified. Janine also teaches residential design at The Boston Architectural College. In 2013 she branched out on her own to become one of the leading Boston interior designers, creating Janine Dowling Design, Inc. Janine combines her interior design experience and intellect with a genuine curiosity about her clients’ lives. This creates a rewarding design experience for her clients: honest, organized and fun.
