Janenne's career began as an inspector (soils, asphalt concrete testing and structural steel inspection). She became an Operating Engineer (NYC) in 1996. As a heavy equipment operator, she has worked on various projects over the 22+ years, such as: The Williamsburg Bridge, The Brooklyn Bridge, The Manhattan Bridge, Coney Island Boardwalk Restoration (Post Hurricane Sandy), JFK Airport (various terminals), World Trade Center, Westside Highway Reconstruction, The Staten Island Expressway Reconstruction, Battery Park City, East-Side Access, Sunny-Side Rail Yard, various tunnel projects, FDA Building, many other building projects, and some Marine work to name a few.
