With over 45 years aviation experience, Ms. La Roche is currently an operational consultant for the FAA’s web-based knowledge system of lessons learned from transport airplane accidents, online at LessonsLearned.faa.gov. She is a retired United Airlines B-767 international captain. During her tenure with the FAA, she has been responsible for writing safety regulations and policy, safety inspections of airlines and training. Ms. La Roche is typed in the following airplanes: DC-3, Convair 580, Boeing 727; 757; 767; 747-400; Airbus 319/320 and Embraer 170/190. She has over 30,000 flight hours.
