My name is Galina Slavova, and I am the founder of the Blossoming Beyond Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting individuals and families affected by cancer. As someone who has personally experienced trauma, adversity, and life-changing challenges, I understand how important emotional support, community, and hope can be during difficult times.
I am an author, motivational speaker, advocate, and survivor who is passionate about helping others feel less alone in their journey. Through my foundation, I have created peer-to-peer support communities, including WhatsApp support groups, where patients, survivors, and caregivers can connect, share experiences, and uplift one another.
I am also the author of The Wrong Side of Freedom, a memoir focused on resilience, perseverance, and overcoming adversity. In addition, I am the creator of Gigi Judo, an empowering children’s brand and book series designed to teach kids confidence, kindness, discipline, resilience, and self-belief through fun and meaningful storytelling.
My mission is to inspire and empower both children and adults through storytelling, advocacy, mental health awareness, education, and community support while helping people find strength even in their hardest moments.
