I started interpreting in 1995 and completed training at the Southern California School of Interpretation in 2002. At that time, in California, the legal and corporate world was just starting to realize the value of effective communication in claims management. Because of my commitment to excellence and passion for my work, I quickly built a large client base, including several successful doctors and medical facilities in San Diego. It was not long before my reputation and high standards brought more business than I could handle on my own. I set out to expand by hiring and training translators who shared my work ethics and commitment to excellence, creating Sierra Interpreting.
