My person that inspired me was my Aunt Miriam Schiff, when she stayed over my house, I was mesmerized how beautiful she put herself together.. every step was magical. First moisturizer over the whole face and neck, light foundation with a touch of blush, holding her eye taught, she was able to draw a perfect black straight liner over her lashes, and red lipstick to top it off. Wow the day was fabulous already! She always had a beautiful word to say to everyone.. always looked put together and was so much fun to be around.. still is my favorite person to be with! I just wanted to be like Aunt Mimi..! I worked at Nubest Salon in Manhasset and found my passion in 1983. I opened my own business at C.W. Post and built my line while selling advertising for Revlon. I started my business at Issy's Salon in Merrick in 1984, then quickly expanded to Peters Place in Great Neck for many years, and Fingers Faces And Toes in Roslyn and Plainview. I enjoyed the North Shore of Long Island for over 30 years. I then opened a few locations in Boca Raton Florida from Moda Salon to Saks Fifth Avenue. Today, we operate out of Moda Salon at Addison Place in Delray, Florida and Gloss Salon In Plainview, New York. I'm committed to working with each women so she feels her very best in a few looks, daytime, eve, and Black tie! I have studied Kabbalah for over 10 years and incorporate each persons horoscope sign (astrological sign) to develop their own personalized look. Taking away some darkness under your eyes with concealer allows your light to shine!
