I was born in Riverside, California but moved to San Diego, California when I was seven. I spent my summers in Burley, Idaho on my grandparent’s farm, riding horses, learning to herd cattle, taming wild kittens, and dreaming of becoming a rodeo queen.
I met my husband Dave at a New Year's Eve Dance in 1997 and married him by March 20, 1998. We have a His-Mine-and-Ours blended family thing going on. I had 2kids, a daughter, and a son when we met, and he had 3 very handsome sons. Then we had 1 more son together to make it an even half dozen. It was kismet, and our family was complete.
We moved to Sacramento in 2001 where we spent seventeen years on a 5 ½ acre ranch.
I am an Author/Publisher who started writing late in life.
I was 50 when I wrote my first novel, Angelina's Secret. A mix of romance, suspense, and adventure. That of course led to Isabella's Heart, and Promise, the three books in my Jeweled Dagger Series.
I managed to work eleven hours a day running a daycare out of our home while raising our two youngest children, taking care of two dogs, milking goats, running the goat farm, and writing the three novels that made up my Jeweled DaggerSeries. I am an “A” personality, and an overachiever.
In 2017 my husband and I decided to retire from our jobs, sell everything, and move to Kalispell, Montana where our oldest son lived. It seemed like a slower pace of life and all the kids had mostly left home and were off on their own adventures. So, in February 2018 we did exactly that and moved to Montana.
I love it here and it feels like every day is a vacation—a really amazing vacation with a view.
I have released 5 novels, so far, editing a 6th novel and working on my 7th novel. My first children’s book is coming out on February 6th, 2024 in both English and Spanish. I told you I am an overachiever.
We have eleven grandchildren and love this life we have. I am so blessed to be doing the things I love to do every day.
