I'm a Native of Birmingham, Alabama. Founder, Director, CEO, and, Choreographer of The Victoria's Hot-Steppers Dance Team with over twenty-three years of teaching. I taught coed dance and mentored privileged and under-privileged students throughout the Birmingham School System. My love and passion for dance has truly been a Blessing from God. And a Blessing to many Children whom was taught under my wings. I also taught students from Leeds High School, Homewood High School, Shades Valley High School, Tarrant High School, and Ramsey High School. Under my umbrella of twenty- three years, were many after school programs that included Norwood Elementary, Lewis Elementary, Tarrant Middle School, Sloss Library, North Birmingham Library, North Birmingham Recreation Center, Central Park Recreation Center, and Roosevelt and Riggins Recreation Center. I also did adult and elderly dance aerobics. My students had the privilege of performing at many NBA and college half time basketball games. The Victoria's Hot-Steppers Dancer also had the privilege of performing for the United Cerebral Palsy Telethon special event held at Brookwood Village Mall. Children's Hospital, Hill-Haven Nursing & Rehab Facility, Harlem Globe-Trotters Basketball event. Also under my leadership and guidance the Dancers has performed at Disney World in Orlando, Florida, Bloody Sunday(Jubilee Festival) in Selma, Alabama were they received a letter and a certificate from the committee stating that by far the Steppers were the most favorable dance team in the parade from the reactions and response from the spectator. The Hot-Steppers also performed on the main-stage at the festival, where the crowd went wild over their show-stopping performance. Mrs. Ebony Arrington Wedding Reception held at the Alabama Sports Hall of Fame, Birmingham Southern Women's Show, Black Heritage Festival, Eyes Awareness Drug prevention Program, Go For It Road Show and Neighborhood watch Programs. The Victoria's Hot-Steppers Dance-Team performed in and out of states spreading love and joy to the young and old with each of their heart-felt performances. leaving with standing ovations and chanting from the crowds asking for more. They were the Little Ambassador's for the City of Birmingham, State of Alabama. My biggest passion by far is my family. As a wife and mother of one adult daughter and two adult sons, whom I love dearly has given me so much love and support along my wonderful journey of teaching dance. To God I give all the glory without his blessings and guidance my task of teaching dance would not have been possible for me to accomplish.
