Prior to becoming a nurse, I was a Human Resource Director in the automobile industry. In the 1908's, I started nursing school, but had to put it on hold due to unexpected circumstances. After moving back to Ohio, due to family illness, I worked a variety of jobs, with limited fulfillment. My husband assisted and requested an enrollment packet to Christ Hospital School of Nursing in Cincinnati. I earned my RN in 2000 and quickly became a Nurse Supervisor. Within 8 months, I had been promoted to Director of Nursing and later to a Regional Clinical Consultant. I have worked in hospitals, hospice and skilled nursing and assisted living facilities.
