I’ve been an educator, specialist, and college professor for over twenty-five years, and I’m also a proud mom of three amazing adult kids. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of supporting countless children, students of all ages, and young adults in developing a growth mindset, self-confidence, self-awareness, self-management skills, and empathy for themselves.
Early in my career, I was chosen to promote inclusivity long before social-emotional learning became widely recognized. I successfully created and wrote a curriculum that teaches and supports emotional intelligence. As one of the only specialists in this field in Colorado, I’ve also had the honor of being a speaker and presenter at the Rocky Mountain Early Childhood Conference in Denver.
Beyond education, I earned a degree in broadcast television and have extensive experience in on-camera segments and news reporting. I also created the Amazing You! Empowerment Perspective podcast on Spotify, which allows me to share my passion for helping people thrive and reach their fullest potential.
