Advocating for children and families has been my life goal. I have 2 biological sons and raised 5 Foster children.
My career was mainly focused around working on the Fond du Lac Ojibway reservation. I am a member of the Fond du Lac Tribe. I started working as a Child Protection Worker and advanced to Lead worker, Assistant Coordinator and worked as the acting Coordinator two different times for periods of a year each. As a Coordinator our team worked with numerous facets of Social Services; Child protection, Foster Care, Adult Services and advocacy for Women.
My passion for this career continues to be strong. I retired in August of 2023. I am involved in many community boards and activities that allow me to continue to help and support others.
